Bhubaneswar Set to Host Inaugural Odisha Mining and Construction Equipment Expo 2026

Bhubaneswar : The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is set to organize the first edition of the Odisha Mining and Construction Equipment Expo (OMCE) 2026, a dedicated industry platform for the mining and construction equipment sectors in Eastern India. The three-day event will be held from 19–21 March 2026 at Biju Patnaik Ground, Baramunda, Bhubaneswar.
OMCE 2026 aims to bring together leading manufacturers, technology providers, contractors, infrastructure developers, policymakers, and key industry stakeholders to showcase the latest innovations and technological advancements shaping the mining and infrastructure ecosystem.
The event is being organized with the support of the Government of Odisha as the Host State, while the Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (ICEMA) serves as the Sector Partner. The Expo is also supported by prominent industry bodies including the Eastern Zone Mining Association, Mining Engineers’ Association of India, Builders Association of India, and the CII Mining and Construction Equipment Division.
In addition, Odisha Metal Expo 2026 will be held as a co-located show alongside OMCE 2026, further strengthening the platform by bringing together stakeholders from the metals and allied industries, and enabling greater cross-sector collaboration across mining, metals, and infrastructure value chains.
OMCE 2026 will feature an impressive line-up of global and Indian equipment manufacturers presenting cutting-edge machinery, technologies, and solutions designed for modern mining and infrastructure development. Leading industry players such as Caterpillar, JCB, Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery, , SANY, XCMG, Kobelco Construction Machinery, Hyundai Construction Equipment, Sandvik, Wirtgen Group,Puzzolana, Propel Industries, CASE Construction Equipment, Escorts Kubota, Conmat Systems, Ajax, Dynapac, JSW Group , Hailstone Innovations, etc will participate with large equipment displays and live demonstrations.
The Expo will host 150+ exhibitors and is expected to attract over 10,000 business visitors from across the mining, construction, infrastructure, and equipment manufacturing sectors. The event will facilitate B2B and B2G meetings, offering valuable opportunities for networking, partnerships, and business collaboration.
OMCE 2026 will also serve as a strategic platform to strengthen industry–government engagement, enabling dialogue between policymakers, industry leaders, contractors, and technology providers. Through knowledge exchange and collaboration, the Expo aims to support the growth of mining operations and infrastructure development in Eastern India while promoting modern, sustainable, and technology-driven practices.
With Odisha being one of India’s most resource-rich and industrially dynamic states, OMCE 2026 is poised to emerge as a key regional platform for the mining and construction equipment ecosystem, unlocking new opportunities for innovation, investment, and collaboration in the sector.
