Adani Foundation Inaugurates “Adani Bhawan” at Balimunda
Dhamra, 24.02.2026 : Reaffirming its commitment to rural infrastructure development, Adani Foundation, the CSR arm of the Adani Group, today inaugurated Adani Bhawan at Balimunda village.
Constructed across an area of 2,200 square feet with an investment of ₹47 lakh, Adani Bhawan has been developed as a dedicated community space to support social, cultural, and developmental activities for the people of Balimunda. In addition to this a road stretching from Balimunda Airstrip to Balimunda Road with a length of 1.5 KM and a total of 62 lakh spent on this road. This road is going to benifit more than 400 families.
The facility was inaugurated by Mr. Ashwini Gupta, Whole Time Director and CEO, APSEZ, in the presence of Mr. Pranab Choudhury, CEO, and Mr. Devendra Thakkar, CEO, DPCL. The inauguration ceremony was also graced by the Sarpanch and PRI members of Balimunda Gram Panchayat, along with community representatives and villagers.
Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries highlighted the importance of community infrastructure in enabling grassroots development and empowering rural communities. Adani Bhawan is envisioned as a hub for meetings, training programmes, social gatherings, and other community-led initiatives that will contribute to the overall development of the village.
Through this initiative, Adani Foundation reiterates its dedication to strengthening rural infrastructure and fostering inclusive, community-driven growth.
