AIIMS Bhubaneswar observes Good Governance Day

Bhubaneswar, 26/12/2022: AIIMS Bhubaneswar observed Good Governance Day on occasion of the 98th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister, legendary statesman Bharat Ratna late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee yesterday. Speaking on the occasion AIIMS Bhubaneswar Executive Director Prof (Dr) Ashutosh Biswas stressed upon awareness accountability responsibility transparency and integrity (AARTI) for good governance in every sector.

Being the founder of AIIMS Bhubaneswar, former Prime Minister brought a radical change in the health care sector in the state. Reiterating the dynamism of late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, AIIMS Bhubaneswar paid rich tributes to Bharat Ratna on his 98th birth anniversary.

To mark the occasion a meeting was held yesterday at AIIMS Bhubaneswar coordinated by Addl. Prof (Anatomy) Dr. Prabhash Ranjan Tripathy. Dean (Academics) Dr. P R Mohapatra, MS Dr. S N Mohanty, Deputy Director (Administration)I/c Rasmi Ranjan Sethy, registrar B B Mishra along with faculty members, students and staff attended the meeting.

Dignitaries, personalities from different corners of society paid floral tributes in the statue of Late Vajpayee at AIIMS Bhubaneswar campus.

It may be noted here that the statue of late Vajpayee has been installed in the AIIMS Bhubaneswar campus. Former Prime Minister had laid the foundation stone of AIIMS Bhubaneswar, on 15th July 2003. AIIMS Bhubaneswar is the second AIIMS in the country and the only AIIMS whose foundation stone was laid by Shri Vajpayee.
