B C Jindal Group’s Promoters Meet Hon’ble Odisha CM to Discuss Rs 15,000 Crore Investment in the State


New Delhi: The Promoters of BC Jindal Group, one of India’s leading conglomerates, met Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Mohan Charan Majhi and Hon’ble Minister, Shri Sampad Chandra Swain, Industries & Skill Development & Technical Education Department, in New Delhi to discuss fresh investments to the tune of Rs 15,000 crore in the state.

Mr. Shyam Jindal, Mr. Anubhav Poddar and Mr. Ankit Agarwal, promoters of the B C Jindal Group, discussed Jindal (India) Limited’s plans to expand its steel production capacity by investing in the state of Odisha. In line with this strategic move, the company is projected to make an investment of Rs 15,000 crore by 2030.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Shyam Jindal, Promoter, B C Jindal Group, said, “We thank Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Mohan Charan Majhi and Hon’ble Minister, Shri Sampad Chandra Swain for giving us the opportunity to discuss Jindal (India) Limited’s expansion plans for Odisha. We acknowledge the Government’s proactive measures to offer an ideal environment to businesses for boosting the state’s industrial development. We are confident of playing a constructive role in contributing to Odisha’s economic growth journey.”
