Bhubaneswar : The four-day Earth Venture Camp for neurodivergent students, organised by KiiT-IS SEN Globe, concluded on a vibrant and meaningful note as the final day coincided with the celebration of International Women’s Day. The event brought together students, parents, educators and staff in a joyful celebration of inclusion, creativity and empowerment.
The celebration was graced by the presence of the Honourable Founder of KIIT, KISS and KIMS, Prof. Achyuta Samanta, who appreciated the dedication and strength of the women associated with the SEN Globe community. He acknowledged the tireless efforts of mothers, educators and team members who continuously nurture, support and empower neurodivergent children, emphasizing that their compassion and resilience form the foundation of an inclusive learning environment.
Addressing the gathering, Chairperson Dr. Mona Lisa Bal reflected on the journey of womanhood and motherhood, highlighting both the challenges and the profound strength that define it. On the occasion, three dedicated support staff members were also felicitated, recognising their invaluable contributions and quiet dedication to the institution.

The Earth Venture Camp itself was designed as an engaging and experiential learning journey for the students. Over the past three days, children participated in a variety of activities including art and craft, vocational skill development, creative expression, sensory-based learning and collaborative tasks that encouraged confidence, independence and teamwork. The initiative also highlighted the importance of neurodiversity and special education, creating an environment where every child’s unique abilities were celebrated and supported through inclusive learning practices.
The final day concluded with a lively, fun fair, cultural performances and an exhibition of the children’s creations, where parents had the opportunity to witness the remarkable talent and effort of the students.
The event ended on a joyful note as the community came together to celebrate not only the achievements of the children but also the spirit of empowerment and compassion that defines the occasion, leaving everyone with a sense of pride, gratitude and hope.
