Nrutyadhama Bhubaneswar Marks Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s 100th Birth Anniversary with Tree Plantation Drive

Sakhigopal:  Nrutyadhama Bhubaneswar organized a tree plantation program at Gyan Mandir English Medium School, Bamadeipur, Sakhigopal.  On the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister of India and Bharat Ratna awardee, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee.  On this occasion, Dr. Subhashree Pattnayak, Secretary of Nrutyadhama Bhubaneswar; Engineer Brajendra Kumar Mishra, Founder of Gyan Mandir English Medium School,  village head Prakash Chandra Mishra and teachers of the school and several villagers were present over there. To further strengthen awareness about tree plantation, various programs such as essay writing, quiz, drawing, dance, music competitions  and marathon are being organized across different schools from October 10 to October 14.

On this occasion Dr. Subhashree Pattnayak, Secretary of Nrutyadhama Bhubaneswar, said, “We are extremely delighted to organize this tree plantation program at Gyan Mandir English Medium School on the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Along with this, various competitions such as dance, music, and quiz, as well as tree plantation activities, are being organized in different schools from October 10 to 14. In addition, a marathon has also been held to create awareness about the importance of tree plantation.”

Speaking about this initiative, Engineer Brajendra Kumar Mishra, Founder of  Gyan Mandir English Medium School, said, “On the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary celebration of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, I sincerely thank Nrutyadhama Bhubaneswar for organizing this tree plantation program within our school premises. In addition, they have also planned to plant 100 trees inside the school campus, which I wholeheartedly welcome and appreciate.”
