Odisha Government reaches out to Public for Suggestions on Annual Budget 2026-27

Bhubaneswar: Finance Department of the Odisha Government has commenced its pre-budget consultation process and invited citizens and stakeholders to contribute their suggestions for the upcoming Annual Budget 2026-27.


Continuing the initiative from previous years to foster an open and participative budgetary process using Information and Communication Technology (ICT), the department is seeking inputs from a cross-section of society. The government aims to gather diverse perspectives to ensure the budget reflects the aspirations and needs of the people of Odisha.

How to Submit Suggestions
The Finance Department has opened multiple digital channels to facilitate easy submission of ideas. Suggestions can be submitted through the following methods:
Dedicated Web Portal: Citizens can submit inputs in a structured format at https://budget.odisha.gov.in/. The portal also displays all budget-related documents for public reference.
WhatsApp: Inputs can be messaged directly to (+91) 94381-61111.
E-mail: Suggestions can be sent to odisha.budget@gov.in.

The facility to submit suggestions will remain open until January 31, 2026.
The Finance Department has appealed to members of the public, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to utilize this opportunity to actively participate in the state’s budget-making process. By leveraging these digital platforms, the government hopes to ensure that the 2026-27 budget is comprehensive and people-centric.
