TPNODL Wins National Accolades for CSR and Operational Excellence

Baleshwar, 16th March 2026: TP Northern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPNODL) has garnered national recognition for its outstanding contributions to social responsibility and operational innovation. The company has been lauded as a leading organization committed to community development and operational excellence at a national level.
TPNODL received the “Best CSR Initiatives in Vocational Training and Skilling” award at the Bharat CSR & Sustainability Summit and Awards 2026 in Mumbai, acknowledging its efforts at enhancing youth employability through vocational training. Additionally, the company was honoured with the ISGF Innovation Award 2026 at the 12th India Smart Utility Week in New Delhi, winning Gold Awards for its ‘Smart DT Load Management using smart meters and GIS data’ and ‘Sunishchit-Smart AB Switch Operation’ projects.
Mr Gajanan Kale, Chief – Odisha Distribution Business and CEO TPNODL, received the awards in the presence of company officials Mr Sachin Kumar Garg, Mr Vedprakash Upadhyay, and Mr Himanshu Nayak at different events.
Mr. Kale attributed the awards to the commitment and efforts of TPNODL employees, stating that the achievement would further strengthen the company’s commitment to reliable power supply and technological excellence. He reaffirmed TPNODL’s efforts to community development and social empowerment through public welfare programs.
TPNODL has established six free vocational training centers, empowering over 4,000 youth with skills in speaking English, tailoring, beautician services and computer education.
TPNODL’s innovative and operational excellence practices have strengthened quality electricity service delivery and enhanced efficiency in the region. In the recently released 14th Integrated Rating and Ranking Report by the Union Ministry of Power, TPNODL has also earned an impressive A+ rating among the DISCOMs in the country. These recognitions underscore TPNODL’s leadership in smart utility practices and dedication to sustainable development.
