Dedicated ‘Dialysis Unit’ inaugurated at Tata Steel Medica Hospital, Kalinganagar

Kalinganagar: A dedicated state-of-the-art ‘Dialysis Unit’ was inaugurated by Rajiv Kumar, Vice President (Operations), Tata Steel Kalinganagar and Director, Medica TS Hospital Pvt. Ltd. at Tata Steel Medica Hospital, Kalinganagar on Tuesday.

The New Dialysis Unit is equipped with twenty motorised beds & fourteen high-end Dialysis Machines along with Doctor’s Consultation Room, Nursing station, Dialyzer Washing Room, Changing Room, Waiting Area, and a Reverse Osmosis Plant.

Among others present during the inauguration were Debdoot Mohanty, Chief, Corporate Services, Tata Steel Kalinganagar, Senior members, doctors and support staff from Medica TS Hospital Pvt. Ltd.

Earlier, the hospital had facility of 9 beds with 9 dialysis units and with the increase in number of beds to 14, the dedicated ‘Dialysis Unit’ will be beneficial for the local community who had to go to nearby cities like Cuttack and Bhubaneswar for dialysis. This unit will cater to the long standing need of the residents of Kalinganagar and nearby places like Sukinda, Bamnipal, Danagadi and Jajpur, among others.

The hospital located at Kalinganagar Industrial Complex is a 100-bedded hospital. The facility has comprehensive Diagnostic, Intensive Care and Emergency services.
