Tata Steel celebrates Volunteering Week

Meramandali: As part of Tata Steel Employee Volunteering Week, employees of Tata Steel Meramandali in association with Kantabania Police Station organized a rally today in Kantabania Market to stop single use plastic and help save the environment. Employees of Security department of Tata Steel Meramandali organized this awareness rally.

Slogans were raised against the use of single-use plastic and its harmful effects towards environment. Also, leaflets were distributed among the people and shop owners to spread this awareness. Yesterday also the security department’s employees organized a programmed to clean the surrounding in front of the plant Main gate and picked up plastics for a safe and clean environment. More than 100 people participated in this rally and cleanliness drive.
