SHANTI MEMORIAL HOSPITAL BAGS 2 PRESTIGEOUS AWARDS

Bhubaneswar : In the dazzling event of Times Health Icon -2023, held at ITC Welcome on the 22 nd  of Jan,
Shanti Memorial Hospital bagged 2 prestigious awards. The first went to Dr Sreejoy Patnaik, Chief
Surgeon & CMD of the hospital for his visionary leadership in the field of technological innovations. This
award recognized his contribution to the state, in launching  Odisha’s first center of excellence for
Robotic Surgery at Shanti memorial hospital back in Dec 2021 . The award was given to Dr Sreejoy
Patnaik  by the Honorable Governor of Odisha Shri Ganeshi Lal. The second award went to the hospital
 for being ranked first in the field of Bariatric surgery in Odisha. Dr Sreejoy Patnaik & Dr Rekha Das
received the award from eminent film personality Mr Anupam Kher.
Expressing his thoughts on the occasion, Dr Patnaik said, “While these awards motivate me to strive
harder for the betterment of the healthcare sector of Odisha, it also fills me with gratitude and a higher
sense of responsibility. It has been a long and meaningful journey so far, but all said and done, the love
and trust people have showered on me since the last 30 years, are my most valued earnings.”
