To ensure safety and reliability during the festive season, TPCODL strongly advises event organizers and shopkeepers to obtain electrical connections only from our authorized personnel for Pooja pandals and temporary shops. Unsafe and illegal electrical connections and installation poses a significant risk to the public during festivals, making it imperative to prioritize safety measures. In an unwavering pursuit of uninterrupted and safe power supply, dedicated TPCODL teams will monitor and maintain electricity provision at all pandals vigilantly, preventing any unauthorized hooking or access to TPCODL network, ensuring a joyful festival experience.

Furthermore, TPCODL has issued a set of imperative safety guidelines to ensure safety during the festive season:
Electrical Wiring: Ensure that an authorised and certified electrician performs all electrical wiring.
Overhead Power Lines: Maintain a safe distance from overhead power lines while erecting tents or decorations. While performing any ritual or idol movement please do not try to lift electrical lines by any means of support system and climb at height in the vicinity of lines.
Proximity to Electrical Installations: Do not construct tents or decorations near electrical installations.
Unauthorized Hooking: Avoid unauthorized hooking from electrical network, which can lead to serious accidents.
Proper Earthing: Ensure proper earthing for all electrical equipment. If a generator is used, separate earthing must be provided for its body and neutral.
Prevent Water Leaks: Ensure that water does not leak on electrical meters and switchgears.
Procession Safety: During processions, the vehicles must maintain a safe distance from high and low voltage lines, feeder pillars, and other electrical systems.
Fire Safety: Install appropriate fire extinguishers at pandals and near electrical installations. Ensure that all fire safety measures are in place.
Use of LED Lights: Encourage the use of LED lights, which are energy-efficient and reduce the risk of overheating.
