Bhubaneshwar: TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), a joint venture between Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, is pleased to announce the resounding success of the “Bill Pay and Win Scheme.” This innovative initiative encourages customers to clear their dues promptly and become zero-arrear consumers, and it has seen tremendous participation from Odisha residents.
Covering multiple divisions of TPCODL, including BCDD 1, BCDD 2, BED (Bhubaneswar), CDD1, CDD2, CED (Cuttack), SED (Salepur), JED (Jagatsinghpur), KED (Kendrapada), MED (Marshaghai), BAED (Balugaon), NYP (Nimapada), PED (Puri) and TED (Talcher), the scheme ensures that a broad range of customers can benefit.
TPCODL has already distributed 224 valuable prizes in its various divisions, such as Steam Irons, Mobile Phones, and Cookware Sets. These rewards acknowledge customers who efficiently manage their electricity bills through digital payments.
The scheme’s primary objective is to encourage digital payments, and TPCODL offers an attractive framework for efficient bill management while giving customers a chance to win substantial rewards.
Customers who consistently pay their monthly electricity bills within the due date through digital payment modes receive a significant rebate, equivalent to approximately one month’s worth of electricity bills if they pay all 12 months promptly. To qualify, customers must maintain a zero-arrear status each month and stand a chance to win one of 200 mobile phones distributed monthly through a Lucky Draw. TPCODL also provides a 4% Digital Rebate and a 10 Paise/unit prompt payment rebate for timely bill payments.
To ensure wide outreach, TPCODL has also launched an extensive marketing campaign encompassing community engagement, social media, online visibility, and email notifications. The goal is to inform customers about the scheme’s and digital payments enticing benefits.
