6th Odisha Travel Bazaar to Showcase Odisha’s Tourism Potential to the World


Bhubaneswar, 23rd February 2025: The Department of Tourism, Government of Odisha, in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), is set to host the highly anticipated 6th edition of the Odisha Travel Bazaar from 24th to 27th February 2025 in Bhubaneswar. This prestigious event, to be held at Mayfair Convention and Swosti Premium Bhubaneswar, aims to strengthen Odisha’s tourism sector by fostering strategic partnerships and expanding its global footprint.

The inaugural session will feature distinguished dignitaries from the travel and tourism sectors, including, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism and Culture, Government of India, Smt. Pravati Parida, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Babu Singh, Member of Legislative Assembly, Ekamra, Shri Manoj Ahuja, IAS, Chief Secretary, Shri Balwant Singh, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Department of Tourism, Shri Samarth Verma, IAS, Director, Department of Tourism, Shri JK Mohanty, Co-Chairperson, FICCI Tourism Committee & Lifetime Chairman, HRAO, Shri Manab Majumdar, Senior Advisor, FICCI.

Other key highlights of the event include the Launch of the Explore Odisha Quiz – Challenge Yourself & Win Competition.

The Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 is expected to witness participation from approximately 100 Domestic Tour Operators (DTOs) representing over 30 cities across India, along with more than 30 Foreign Tour Operators (FTOs) from 17 countries, including Australia, the UK, Germany, Belgium, South Africa, Spain, and Singapore.

The event will feature over 3,000 pre-scheduled B2B meetings between 70 sellers from Odisha’s tourism sector and both Domestic & Foreign Tour Operators, facilitating meaningful business collaborations. Additionally, B2G meetings and adventure tourism workshops will be integral components of the event.

To provide a firsthand experience of Odisha’s diverse tourism offerings, familiarization trips have been arranged to key destinations, including Bhitarkanika, Raghurajpur, Puri-Konark, and the Diamond Triangle.
