Prayagraj, 5 February 2025 : People from across the country and the world gathered in Prayagraj to take a dip in the Triveni. Alongside this spiritual Maha Kumbh, a Maha Kumbh of service and hospitality is also taking place. Adani and ISKCON have joined hands to contribute to this grand initiative. The Adani Group, in collaboration with ISKCON, is providing Mahaprasad to pilgrims from across the country and the world. This noble endeavor is supported by the world’s largest kitchen, which operates day and night.
Considering the sacred bathing days of Mauni Amavasya and Basant Panchami, approximately 5.5 lakh people received Mahaprasad from Adani-ISKCON. In the last 22 days, around 28 lakh people have been served, and the distribution is ongoing.

Consumption of 1 Lakh Kg of Flour, 2 Lakh Kg of Rice

The distribution of Mahaprasad by Adani and ISKCON began on 13 January 2025 and continues uninterrupted. Mahaprasad is being distributed at over 40 centers within the Maha Kumbh area. To facilitate this, three kitchens within the region are continuously preparing food. From 13 January 2025 to 3 February 2025, more than 2 lakh kg of rice, 1 lakh kg of flour, 1.5 lakh kg of vegetables, 1.35 lakh kg of pulses, and 19,000 kg of desi ghee have been used.

Lakhs Received Mahaprasad, More to Come

On the two holy bathing days—Mauni Amavasya and Basant Panchami—approximately 5.5 lakh people received Mahaprasad. Between 13 January and 3 February, the total number of devotees who received Mahaprasad surpassed 28 lakh. It is estimated that by the last day of the Maha Kumbh Mela, Adani-ISKCON will have served Mahaprasad to around 50 lakh devotees.
The distribution of Mahaprasad continues almost throughout the day. The secret behind the Mahaprasad of Adani-ISKCON is not just its quantity but also its taste and nutritional value, which keep people praising it even after consuming it daily.

Delicious and Healthy
The Adani-ISKCON kitchen has been carefully designed to maintain food quality. While LPG cylinders are used, traditional brick-and-clay stoves fueled by cow dung cakes also play a significant role. Vegetables are cooked on low flame, ensuring both taste and nutrition. The entire kitchen has been designed by four civil and mechanical engineers from IIT, ensuring efficiency and hygiene. An ISKCON spokesperson stated that they could set up a kitchen capable of preparing meals for 50,000 people within 2 days if required.
The Adani Group, in collaboration with ISKCON, has set a goal of serving Mahaprasad to more than 1 lakh people daily. Additionally, the Adani Group, in association with Geeta Press, is distributing 1 crore free Aarti collections to devotees.
