Tata Steel Foundation Donates an Ambulance to Odisha Blood Bank, Dhenkanal

Narendrapur: As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, Tata Steel Foundation (TSF), the CSR wing of Tata Steel donated an Ambulance to Odisha Blood Bank today at the premises of the Collectorate in Dhenkanal. The Public Health vertical of TSF donated the ambulance reinforcing its commitment towards community health services.


Manoranjan Mallick, Collector and District Magistrate, Dhenkanal graced the event as Chief Guest and flagged off the ambulance in the presence of Dr Dilip Kumar Biswal, CDMO, Dhenkanal, Dr Swaroop Kumar Sahu, Blood Centre Officer, Mohit Das, Chief Corporate Services, Tata Steel Meramandali (TSM), Nrusingha Charan Mahapatra, Head Corporate Relations and Regulatory Compliance, TSM and other key officials.


This initiative will support Odisha Blood Bank, Dhenkanal in enhancing blood collection and transportation capabilities. The strategically placed ambulance is set to facilitate blood donation camps in remote areas, ensuring consistent and reliable blood supply.
