Axis Bank inaugurates 4 new branches in Odisha; scales expansion plan in the State


Bhubaneshwar: Axis Bank, one of the largest private sector banks in India, inaugurates four new branches in the state of Odisha. This strategic expansion is part of the Bank’s ongoing efforts to expand its footprint and provide customers with greater access to the wide range of banking products and services. These new branches will be located at Choudwar and Nischintakoili in Cuttack district; Champua, in Keonjhar district and Bahalda in Mayurbanj district.

The Chief Guests, Mr. Souvik Biswal, Choudwar MLA and Mrs. Rashmi Routray, Principal, Choudwar College, inaugurated the 218th branch at Choudwar in Cuttack district in the presence of Mr. Biplabi Patnaik, Circle Head- Bhubaneswar, Axis Bank; Mr. Bibhudatta Mishra, Cluster Head, Axis Bank; Mr. Debasis Jena, Cluster Head- Liability Sales – Axis Bank and other senior officials of Bank.

These new branches will offer a wide array of asset products and banking services such as personal banking, digital banking, loan products (personal, gold, home, vehicle, working capital, term, etc.), insurance facilities to cater to the diverse banking requirements of its customer segments covering Large and Mid-Corporates, MSME, Agriculture, and Retail Businesses. The branches will also extend services to the rural, unbanked population.

With this news branches, Axis Bank now has a total of 218 branches and 525 ATMs in the state of Odisha.
