BNI Bhubaneswar Celebrates Women’s Day with Inspiring Conclave on Entrepreneurial Success

Bhubaneswar: BNI Bhubaneswar marked International Women’s Day with a dynamic conclave celebrating the achievements and resilience of women entrepreneurs in the region. Held at Lemon Tree Premier, the event brought together BNI members, guests, and distinguished speakers to honor the pivotal roles women play in business and society. 

The conclave, themed Celebrating Women – From Motherhood & Homemaker to Outstanding Entrepreneur, featured inspiring talks, member introductions, and recognition of top-performing women entrepreneurs in Bhubaneswar. 

Sanjibani Pattanaik, President of BNI SmartC Chapter, opened the event by highlighting BNI’s core values and the importance of empowering women in business. Nivedita Narula, VP of BNI Supreme Chapter, and Sumisha Mehra, VP of BNI Splendid Chapter, also shared their insights. 

The event honored Gold Club Members (sponsors of 6+ members) including Crorepati Givers (members generating over ₹1 crore in business), and Green Pin Holders (members with exceptional chapter contributions). 

Manoj Lalani, Executive Director of BNI Bhubaneswar, shared his experiences witnessing the growth of women entrepreneurs within BNI and offered valuable advice for continued success. Rtn. Dr. Lopamudra Priyadarshini, Head of Community Relations & Sustainability, Hindalco Industries Limited, shared her career journey and insights.  Dr. Garima Sarawgi, an accomplished Onco-Surgeon, inspired attendees with her perspective on resilience and determination. Dr. Smita Mohanty, Deputy Inspector General of Land Registration, Cuttack, spoke about her professional journey and experiences.  Dr. Sanghamitra Satapathy, Senior Consultant & Laparoscopic Surgeon, Jaganath Health Care Pvt Ltd, delivered a presentation on health and wellness. 

Several BNI members shared their experiences, motivations for joining BNI, and the transformative impact the organization has had on their businesses. 

Over 42 women entrepreneurs across BNI Bhubaneswar were felicitated for their outstanding achievements and contributions. 

The organizing team, led by Sanjibani Pattnaik, included Sarasweta Patra, Aparajita Acharya, Nivedita Narula, Sumisha Mehra, Aparajeeta Priyadarshini, Sasmita Sahu, Jyoti Pattnaik, Kapila Nagpal, Nirajita Mohanty, Nirupama Biswal, Shimarekha Talukdar, Shreya Mehra, Smruti Dash, Teena Devata, and Zadeeda Ahmed. 

BNI Bhubaneswar comprises 7 chapters with over 308 members. In the past 12 months, members have generated over ₹255.97 Crores through 17,423 referrals.
