Bhubaneswar: In a significant outreach initiative during the holy Rath Yatra, TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), a joint venture of Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, has set up an awareness stall at Bada Danda near the Gundicha Temple to promote the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. Drawing thousands of daily visitors, the stall educates pilgrims and locals on rooftop solar installation, government subsidies, financial benefits and eligibility criteria. Staffed by trained professionals, it features brochures, leaflets, LED screens with testimonials and cost-benefit visuals. With lakhs attending Rath Yatra, this initiative offers a powerful platform to promote clean energy.
