Bhubaneswar: Greaves Electric Mobility Limited (GEML), the e-mobility division of Greaves Cotton Limited, announces the launch of the all-new Greaves Eltra City XTRA — an enhanced variant of the popular Greaves Eltra City. Designed to meet the evolving demands of urban mobility, the Eltra City XTRA brings “Everything XTRA”—extra range, extra safety, and, extra technology.

The Eltra City XTRA seeks to elevate everyday urban mobility with a powerful blend of performance, technology, trust, & safety. It offers a true range of 170 km, a top speed of 60 kmph in Power Mode, and a 6.2” PMVA digital cluster featuring Distance-to-Empty (DTE) and Navigation aiming to make city travel faster, smoother, and more intuitive. Designed for real-world conditions, it features 12-inch radial tubeless tyres for better ground clearance and comfort.

The Eltra City Xtra achieved a landmark feat by completing a 324-kilometre journey from Bangalore to Ranipet on a single charge. This historic run secured a place in the India Book of Records, making it the highest-range electric three-wheeler in the country.

Safety and reliability are at the core of the Eltra City XTRA’s design. With larger 180mm brake drums, reinforced side panels, and a rear visual barrier, it offers stronger protection for both drivers and passengers. Powered by a peak 9.5 kW motor and a 10.75 kWh IP67-rated LFP battery, the vehicle combines performance with durability. Charging time of 4-5 hrs further adds to convenience. Backed by a 5-year or 1.2 lakhs kilometres battery warranty, 3-year or 80,000 kilometres vehicle warranty, the Eltra City XTRA is built for long-term reliability and a worry-free EV ownership journey.
