J30 Bhubaneswar ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors Tournament 2024

Bhubaneswar, May 05, 2024 – The Odisha Tennis Association is proud to announce the commencement of the J30 Bhubaneswar ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors Tournament 2024, scheduled from May 4th to May 10th, 2024, at the Tennis Centre, Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.

This prestigious event marks a significant milestone for the region as it hosts aspiring young tennis talents from across the globe. With over 800 tournaments held in 140 countries, the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors provides a platform for budding tennis stars to showcase their skills and compete on an international stage.

A total of 115 participants from Nepal, Canada, USA, and host nation India will compete for top honors in both singles and doubles categories. The tournament features a draw size of 32 for both boys and girls in the qualifying rounds, with four coveted spots in the main draw up for grabs.

The tournament’s opening ceremony took place on Sunday, May 5th, in the presence of Sh Asit Tripathy President OTA ,Sh Satyajit Mohanty Secretary OTA, with Tournament Director Cum Joint Secretary OTA Sh Sanjeeb Panda , Joint Secretary Department of Sports sh Bijayananda Nayak, while ITF Supervisor Prabin Kumar Nayak oversees adherence to ITF regulations.

Players will compete for valuable ranking points, with winners receiving 30 points in singles and 25 points in doubles rankings.
