Odisha Vigilance Conducts Searches at Multiple Locations Linked to Sri Debasish Sahoo


Bhubaneswar, March 29, 2025 – In a significant move against corruption, Odisha Vigilance has launched simultaneous searches at seven locations linked to Sri Debasis Sahoo, Assistant Project Manager, Odisha Water Supply & Sewerage Board (OWSSB), Bhubaneswar. The searches are being conducted on allegations of possession of disproportionate assets (DA) beyond his known sources of income.

Acting on search warrants issued by the Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar, a team comprising seven Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), nine Inspectors, ten Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs), and other supporting personnel is leading the operation at multiple locations across Bhubaneswar, Jatni, and Cuttack.

The properties under search include:

  1. Residential house at Main Road, Jatni, Khordha.
  2. Rented residential house at Sukanti Devi Enclave, Aiginia, Bhubaneswar.
  3. Double-storyed building at Sardar Patel Marg, Jatni, Khordha.
  4. Triple-storyed (under construction) building at Sardar Patel Marg, Jatni, Khordha.
  5. Two shops at Banadurga Market Complex, Jatni, Khordha.
  6. House of a relative at Choudwar, Cuttack.
  7. His office in Bhubaneswar.

The search operation is currently in progress, and further details regarding the findings will be shared in due course.
