Recycle Pay App Launched, to Revolutionizing Waste Recycling with Innovative Incentives


Bhubaneswar: Atal Incubation Centre-Nalanda Institute of Technology Foundation (AIC-Nalanda), supported by AIM, NITI Aayog, Govt. of India, proudly announces the launch of the “Recycle Pay” application by Ceiba Green Solutions, an incubated startup from the Surge 3.0 Annual Incubation Program.

The launch event, held at Mayfair Lagoon, Bhubaneswar, witnessed the unveiling of the innovative Recycle Pay App by Dr. Andrew Fleming, British Deputy High Commissioner, East and Northeast India. This groundbreaking application aims to incentivize waste recycling, fostering a culture of environmental consciousness and responsibility.

Dr. Fleming, while addressing the audience, emphasized the significance of the India-UK Roadmap 2030 in addressing India’s waste management challenges. He stated, “We aspire to launch a new phase of cooperation on urbanization by supporting smart and sustainable cities, promoting climate action, effective waste management, and a circular economy.”

The event also welcomed dignitaries, including Shri Nihar Ranjan Sahoo, Chief Environmental Engineer, Odisha State Pollution Control Board, Ms. Elizabeth Atwell, Head-Resilience, Infrastructure & Urban Development, British High Commission, New Delhi, Shri Rashmi Ranjan Sahoo, Senior Mission Associate, Startup Odisha, and Ms. Deepshikha Sarkar, Incubation Manager, AIC-Nalanda Institute of Technology Foundation.

Following the launch, a workshop on the Recycle Pay App was conducted by Ms. Neelima Mishra, Founder of Ceiba Green Solutions. She popularized the slogan “Sort. Recycle. Earn.” and explained the circular economy business model embedded in the application.

The Recycle Pay App’s launch is a significant milestone in Ceiba Green Solutions’ commitment to promoting sustainability and social responsibility. AIC-Nalanda reaffirms its unwavering support for the startup, pledging to champion its endeavors in advancing environmental consciousness and responsible waste management.
