TPSODL celebrates World Environment Day

Berhampur: TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL), a joint venture between Tata Power and the Government of Odisha organized “Plantation Drive” on the occasion of World Environment Day. The CEO Amit Garg initiated the drive by planting a sapling in the office premises emphasizing the company’s commitment to combat climate change. World Environment Day is celebrated to raise awareness of the preservation of the environment and encourage people to practice sustainability. In support of the UN’s campaign #BeatPlasticPollution, the company’s employees pledged to protect the environment by making micro changes in their daily lives, mitigating the use of plastic. Along with this, an awareness program was also conducted to educate about the importance of environmental protection, and sustainability. TPSODL believes in a sustainable future and this step toward protecting the environment encourages to adopt eco-friendly practices.
